Blogging & RSS Information:
What in the world is up with the world of blogs? Blogs are meant to be this great new technology where people can share their ideas and interests with others around the globe. As far as I'm concerned the state of blogs is one of chaos, confusion, and anti-interactivity.
Blogs like all forms of writing are an art form that takes knowledge and practice to do well. Writing? Blogs are on-line journals where people express themselves through writing.
What are Blogs? Having heard the term previously but not having paid much attention most are just to afraid to show their ignorance and ask the question, what is a blog? Lets face it; the term blog does not conjure pleasant images. Blogs are web logs that are updated regularly, usually on a daily basis.
Everyday more and more websites, news services and blogs are adding RSS content. RSS is a method of syndicating content.
Of all people in the world I was easily one of the most pessimistic about computers, the Internet and now that I even know they exist-blogs. I think blogs are pretty cool but I never thought I could have one.
Flush out the writer in children. Blogging could draw out a young writer and open doors to their future.
The real potential of RSS lies in Broadcasting. In former times, jumping up on a soapbox or any platform in the street to speak your mind was a popular pastime.
Creating Content. New websites are being launched daily. In order to compete, webmasters need to find alternative ways of producing themed websites.
RSS or 'Really Simple Syndication' is not just for Blogs and News sites. Every website can benefit from this newly popular technology.
Blogging is the latest internet craze and it may turn out to be just that and killed off if the avalanche of misinformation continues. One is amazed at how an excellent online medium is promoted for all the wrong reasons.
As you've probably been reading, there are basically three problems many webmasters have with web feeds (that is, among those who are already familiar with them on a basic level). The three concerns I hear the most are: "How do I deal with the bandwidth hit?" "Is there a way to include information that isn't in the automated resource I use to populate my feed without touching any code?" and "Where can I find a cost-effective, simple way to display feeds on my site?" Say Goodbye to Bandwidth Overages with FeedBurner.
These days, everybody is blogging. How about you? You can incorporate blogging into your sales marketing and achieve more success.
Bloggers blog. That's what they do.
Blogs are more permanent than posts to an online discussion list, more dynamic than older-style home pages. They are more personal than traditional journalism, and definitely more public than diaries.
If you have been using opt-in email marketing for sometime, I'm sure you might have got accused of spam at some point, even after doing everything right. Yes, I'm talking about people who actually agreed to receive your email, blaming you for sending unsolicited mail.
