When you put on the 3-D glasses, the image on your TV set no longer
appears flat. It feels like you are looking through a window into a 3
dimensional scene on the other side of the TV screen. How is this illusion
possible with existing non-3 dimensional video sources?
3-D perception in humans exists because the left and right eye each see
objects from a slightly different angle. Realeyes 3D-TV uses
state-of-the-art technology to take incoming video images and process them
in real time into 2 images slightly offset from each other. The images are
alternated in synchronization with electronic LCD shutters in the 3-D
glasses. The left eye sees one image and the right eye a slightly offset
image. The resulting effect is truly quite amazing and has to be
experienced to be believed.

DIMENSIONS. THIS TECHNIQUE IS PARTICULARLY EFFECTIVE FOR CREATING 3-D

An included IR remote control provides adjustment of the 3-D effect and
other viewing settings, including brightness, contrast and color tone.
Realeyes 3D-TV has a built-in image enhancement system that can sharpen
and improve image quality even when 3-D viewing is not being used. Both
RCA video in/out and S-VHS in/out jacks are provided. Installation is very
easy, consisting of merely hooking the unit up between the TV and the
incoming video source.
A videotape showing how to set up the system is included. This tape also
features some "real" 3-D video footage shot using dual film cameras.
"Real" 3-D movies have enhanced effects -- images will now actually appear
to come out of your TV screen into your living room. Information is
included on a real 3-D movie club that you can join to purchase real,
specially-filmed 3-D movies.
Realeyes 3D-TV comes with 2 pairs of 3-D glasses. Up to 8 pairs can be
connected to the Realeyes 3D-TV unit simultaneously.
